Dr Raby is very relaxed and friendly. He totally put me at ease in his pre operation consultation and questioning. He explained what his role was and how he would monitor me during the procedure and assured me that I would feel fine when I woke up. He met me in the annex to the Operating Theatre and engaged in a conversation that I was having with the Theatre Nurse as he prepared me for the procedure. I have no recollection of actually being Anaesthetised, I recall chatting to him, the next thing I remember was being in my room following my procedure. I felt fine when I woke up with no after affects from the Anaesthetic. I felt very safe when I was at my most vulnerable and he took very good care of me during an extended period in theatre (7 hours). I have no hesitation in recommending him as he is the ultimate professional.

Dr Raby was great. He listened and explained very well. He was very caring and wanted to ensure the best care both in hospital and afterwards post discharge.

Dr Raby is an extremely professional and confident Dr with an exceptional bed side Manner. He reassured myself and my wife as we both had concerns regarding my operations but he looked me in the eye and confidently talked us through the procedure. I just want to say thank you from myself and family .

This Doctor was excellent from start to finish, he explained everything and put me completely at ease as soon as I arrived in the Operating Theatre.

Dr Raby is a very friendly, likeable and caring person which is an invaluable asset in any doctors repertoire. Dr Raby was very clear and concise about what would happen during my operation and after for pain relief. What more could I ask for? Well, I certainly got more than I expected! I am a general anaesthetic veteran having had the best part of 20 operations during my 43 years. Dr Raby was the very first Anaesthetist to visit me the day after my op to check I was all OK and pain levels were being properly managed. I cannot tell you how much this was appreciated and valued. Anaesthetists in my experience are fleeting pre-op visitors that are rarely ever seen again! Dr Raby is not that guy. He cares. Thank you very much Sir!
